Well In Tune, Jensen/Fernando RPF
Jensen Ackles likes soccer well enough. Having been raised in Texas, he has retained a love for the sport. Due to his current schedule, he doesn’t always have time to follow the sport. He could probably name a couple soccer legends. Personally, his favorite is Fernando Torres. But that’s just between him and well, his brother, who nevers lets him live it down.
He never expected someone like Fernando to know who he was, much less show up to a Supernatural convention. Specifically, in Madrid.
Later Jared will tease him about it. Jensen doesn’t think he should be blamed for his reaction, especially when it turns out that Fernando Torres wants a photograph with him. With Jensen, of all people.
“Hi,” Fernando greets him, easily enough. Jensen gulps, but manages to nod. He thinks he probably also manages to greet him, in return. At least he hopes so.
“I really love your show,” Fernando continues, seemingly unaware of Jensen’s plight. “Dean Winchester is a badass. He is my favorite character. You do a great job!”
Jensen nods, smiling this time. He shouldn’t be flailing inside, but he is. He also shouldn’t find Fernando’s accent as cute as he does. Or those freckles… oh god, how many freckles does he even have?
“You have a lot of freckles!” Jensen blurts out. He immediately wants to slap himself. Clearly, being around Fernando has removed Jensen’s filter.
Fernando looks at him for a couple of seconds, and then his face widens into a smile and he starts laughing. It’s beautiful.
“Yes,” Fernando agrees, once most of his laughter has died down. He stares at Jensen, intently. “You have many freckles, as well,” he points out.
Jensen can feel his whole face heating up. “They are cute,” Fernando adds, with a smirk on his face.
Jensen blushes again. He’s saved from replying by the photographer, who tells them they need to hurry up.
As they stand together for the shot, he tries to ignore the way Fernando feels excruciatingly warm against his side. They’re close, and Jensen’s starting to think it’s too close. Then Fernando’s arm comes to rest around his shoulder and he’s leaning into Jensen.
And Jensen must be in heaven.
Then the shot is taken and it’s over. Fernando’s leaving and there’s another fan waiting for a picture with Jensen. Fernando manages a wave before Jensen has to turn to the next fan in line.
That should be the end of that, but it isn’t. For the rest of the day, his thoughts are occupied with Fernando Torres.
When he suggests to Jared that they stay a couple more days in Madrid, it certainly has nothing to do with Fernando. Nothing at all.
“You’ll never believe who I met today!!”
Sergio eyes Fernando and he sighs. “Jensen Ackles.”
Fernando nods, enthusiastically. “It was so awesome and I have a picture- look!” Fernando whips out the photograph from earlier. “Isn’t it wonderful? He looks fantastic in that shirt, eh?”
Sergio nods. Inwardly he sighs. Sometimes he forgets how much of a fanboy Fernando can be. Sometimes. “Did you ask him for his phone number?” he asks, trying to at least engage himself in this conversation.
Fernando’s face drops. “…no..”
Sergio shakes his head. “Idiot,” he says disapprovingly.
Fernando immediately protests. “It’s not like he goes around giving his number to fans!”
Sergio shrugs. “Who are you?”
Fernando’s forehead creases. “Fernando Torres?”
Sergio nods. “And who wouldn’t give you their number?”
Fernando grins. “Is it because I’m famous, talented and super sexy?”
Sergio hits him on the head.
